Description

Skillnet Ireland has partnered with DCU, SFI, and Intel to support the expansion of the STEM Teacher Internship (STInt) Programme: a globally unique and award-winning initiative founded in 2016 by DCU in collaboration with Accenture and the 30% Club.

The STInt Programme seeks to promote innovative STEM education by supporting trainee teachers for up to 12-week internships across a range of STEM specialisms in Ireland.

To date, the STInt Programme has brought together 243 Teachers, 51 Host Organisations and 7 Universities, impacting over 959,000 future primary and post-primary learners.

Becoming a STInt host is a fantastic way for companies to connect with local schools and invest in their own future talent pipeline. Teachers are the second biggest influence on students, and we want to equip them with the knowledge of what it means to work in STEM in Ireland right now so that they can have meaningful conversations in the classroom.

Join our information call on Monday 6th November at 3pm to learn more about STInt and how your organisation can host an intern in 2024.

Register your attendance here https://forms.gle/wdf9TTxMiqWJS7679 or email stint@dcu.ie for the Zoom link.

Shannon Chamber Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and member companies. Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
