This programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and deliver high impact presentations. It is suitable for people who would like to improve their presentation skills and communicate their message in a more effective manner. Programme content will include tips and techniques around design and structure, in addition to maximising engagement in a virtual environment. Participants on this course will gain practical experience in delivering presentations, receive feedback on their performance and be given a copy of their final presentation.

This Presentation Skills training course is aimed at individuals who wish to:

Course Objectives:
At the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
• Understand the importance of knowing your audience.
• Communicate more effectively with their audience.
• Understand how adults learn and their different learning styles.
• Plan an effective presentation
o Tell them what you are going to tell them.
o Tell them.
o Tell them what you have told them.
• Appreciate the importance of preparation.
• Value the impact of body language, voice projection and eye contact.
• Deal with nerves
• Begin and end a presentation successfully
• Get the audience’s attention and keep it
• Handle questions
• Practise presentation delivery and receive feedback on their performance.
How will you learn?
A participative and interactive training approach will be followed throughout the programme. In tandem with a number of individual delivery practice sessions, participants will be encouraged to discuss topics and share their own experiences. In addition, the use of the online platform tools will ensure that interaction and engagement are maintained throughout.
The programme will be evaluated informally during the course of the programme and by a formal questionnaire at its conclusion.

Training Cancellation Policy: Training courses which are cancelled over 7 days in advance of scheduled training date shall incur no cancellation fee. Training courses which are cancelled within 7 days of scheduled training date shall incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost. Registrants who give less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend training will be charged 100% of the full fee.
