Many workplaces will have existing trained First Aid Responders (FARs) in place and those FARs now require updated training relevant to their roles in the context of COVID -19.
The Government’s Protocol Return to Work stipulates several mandatory aspects of returning to work. Equally, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 has always stipulated that employers have control measures in place for addressing emergencies. Section 11 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires employers to have plans and procedures for emergencies and people trained to implement those plans.
This designated course will enhance FARs with the knowledge and skills to deal with first aid emergencies in the current and future ‘normal’ environment.
Duration: The virtual course is 1 hour in duration.
