DESCRIPTION:This course is being delivered under the Skills Connect Initia
 tive. It is one of a series of programmes which Shannon Chamber Skillnet w
 ill deliver to assist:\n\n 	Individuals who are currently in receipt of PU
 P or TWSS payments\n 	Individuals currently unemployed or who became unemp

 ysis (Level 7 – 10ECTS) Micro -Credential\n\nWhat is data analysis?\n\nD
 ata analysis is the process of collecting and organizing data in order to 
 draw helpful conclusions from it. The process of data analysis uses analyt
 ical and logical reasoning to gain information from the data.\n\nYou’ll 
 analyse the strategic importance of business data analytical techniques us
 ed in a modern business environment. You’ll analyse data arising from a 
 variety of channels such as marketing\, digital marketing\, sales\, human 
 resources (HR)\, customer relationship management (CRM)\, finance and rese
 arch and development (R&amp\;D).\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOverview of Programme:\n\nT
 he aim of this programme is to introduce the learner to the importance of 
 the analysis of business data as a skill which can be developed to solve b
 usiness problems across all segments business. It is aimed at both novices
  in the area or those who are already beginning to engage with data in the
 ir current roles and will provide functional literacy and allow learners t
 o be competent in the analysis of data as part of their existing or future
  employment positions.\n\nLearners will analyse data arising from marketin
 g\, digital marketing\, sales\, human resources (HR)\, customer relationsh
 ip management (CRM) and research and development (R&amp\;D). Through the a
 nalysis of different data sets learners will acquire analytical skills and
  be able to evaluate different options\, demonstrate quantitative and stat
 istical methodologies applied to predicting and forecasting and be able to
  visualise data through charts and graphs for effective communication with
  peers and managers creating value for the business. The learner will be a
 ble to demonstrate how data is created\, stored\, and accessed and help cr
 eate a data driven culture where the analysis of data can flourish. It als
 o develops problem solving and decision-making skills by building and stre
 ngthening analytical capabilities.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHow is data analysis used
  in Business:\n\nData analytics is used in business to help organizations 
 make better business decisions. Whether it’s market research\, product r
 esearch\, positioning\, customer reviews\, segment analysis\, or any othe
 r issue for which data exists\, analysing data will provide insights that 
 organizations need in order to make the right choices.\n\nData-driven busi
 nesses make decisions based on data\, which means they can be more confide
 nt that their actions will bring success since there is data to support th
 em.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAims and objectives: \n\n 	Extract critical information
  from large data sets and interpret data to inform business decisions.\n 	
 Assess and aggregate available data sources to keep businesses agile and i
 nnovative.\n 	Document and visualise the findings to inform the business d

 sed during this Business Data Analysis Module:\nMicrosoft Power BI : Power
  BI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It aims to provide inter
 active visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an inter
 face simple enough for end users to create their own reports and dashboard
 s.\nTableau Software : Tableau is business intelligence software that help
 s people see and understand their data.\nMicrosoft Excel : Microsoft Excel
  is one of the top tools for data analysis. In this course\, you will lear
 n how to perform data analysis using Excel's most popular features.\n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\nWho should attend:\n\nIn the modern workplace\, it’s crucial to 
 know how to analyse\, synthesize\, and tell stories with data. This cours

  help managers make strategic decisions\n 	You want to understand how to a
