 nNote: This module is offered in part-fulfilment of the Diploma in Managem
 ent (NFQ Level 7 – 60 Credit Programme)\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe purpose of this 
 module is to provide an understanding of the influence of motivation\, per
 ception\, attitudes and group behaviour upon job performance and job satis
 faction. To enable participants to comprehend how attitudes are formed and
  the interaction between attitudes and behaviour. Provide recognition of t
 he impact of perception upon managerial decision making and appreciation o
 f how group norms affect behaviour at work. To differentiate between group
 s and teams. This module will also examine the links between motivation\, 
 job satisfaction and performance and explain the relationship between job 
 design and job satisfaction. It will also explore ways of motivating emplo
 yees via job rotation\, job enlargement and job enrichment.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n

 nal Behaviour\n 	Personality\n 	Perception\n 	Attitudes &amp\; Values\n 	M
 otivation\n 	Groups &amp\; Teams in the Workplace\n 	Communication in the 
 Workplace\n\nOn successful completion of this programme\, participants wil
 l be able to:\n\n 	Define and display knowledge of Organisational Behaviou
 r theories\, concepts and principles. They will have an understanding as t
 o how they may influence behaviour within the workplace\n 	Assess and appl
 y different and informed methods for analysing behaviour in multidisciplin
 ary groups\, teams\, departments and organisations.\n 	Identify and apply 
 skills and tools that are useful for analysing individual\, group and orga
 nisational level people and performance relevant issues.\n 	Apply Organisa
 tional Behaviour knowledge to issues relevant to practicing managers and t
 he business organization (personality\, perception\, communication\, attit
 udes and values)\n 	Explain why motivation is important in the workplace a
 nd understand the impact of situational factors.\n 	Analyse ‘real-world
 ’ organisational situations through the lens of organisational behaviour
 .\n 	Demonstrate the capacity to value\, interact and participate in group
  work and advance effective communication skills\n 	Display the ability to
  professionally provide recommendations and guidance to management in resp
 onse to Organisational Behaviour analysis and assessment.\n\n\n\nAccredita
 tion: \n\nOn the successful completion of the Organisational Behaviour pr
 ogramme participants will receive a University Certificate of Study (6 ECT
 S credits).\n\nWho should attend? \n\nThis programme is designed as an in
 troduction to organisational behaviour for business and non-business profe
 ssionals. This programme is open to managers\, supervisors or those aspiri
 ng to a managerial role with a minimum of two years organisational experie
 nce. Completion of a NFQ Level 6 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
