DESCRIPTION:Earlier this year we collaborated with the University of Limeri
 ck as part of a European SME Skills Initiative - Project EAGLE.\n\nThanks 
 to input from our SME network\, UL have produced a short course in data an
 alytics (Full title\, Introduction to Data Analytics/Visualisation &amp\; 
 Machine Learning) specifically for the needs of SMEs and professionals.\n\
 nWe are delighted to announce that there are 15 fully funded places availa
 ble for eligible participants where priority will be given to SME companie
 s. This is an EAGLE Project initiative\, a Digital Europe funded project\,
  aiming to address the digitisation upskilling needs of European SMEs. The
  cost of this module would ordinarily be €1000.\n\nThe Module – Introd
 uction to Data Analytics/Visualisation &amp\; Machine Learning\n\nIntroduc
 tion to Data Analytics/Visualisation &amp\; Machine Learning will provide 
 a pragmatic business and industry approach to Data Analytics. The module a
 ims to introduce the learner to standard business systems to collect and i
 nterpret datasets for data driven intelligence.  It examines the relevanc
 e and value of data analytics as part of business practice.\n\nInformation
  is critical to decision making and visualisation plays a key role.  This
  module will introduce the use of database technologies and data visualisa
 tion in a relevant business and industrial context.  It will teach partic
 ipants to represent pattern\, trends\, and correlations through appropriat
 e data visualisation techniques.\n\nThis course adopts an applied learning
  approach.  The module lecturer is Brian McClafferty PhD\, Digital Transf
 ormation &amp\; Operational Excellence Director at Abbott.  Brian will br
 ing significant academic knowledge and practical experience thereby suppor
 ting learners to apply the learning outcomes immediately to real-life work
  challenges.\n\nFacilitators\n\nDr. Sean Moore\, Associate Professor\, Dir
 ector of Lean Sigma programmes and module leader Dr. Brian McClafferty\, D
 igital Transformation &amp\; Operational Excellence Director at Abbott wil
 l facilitate this Lunch &amp\; Learn session.  Brian brings his significa
 nt academic and industry experience to this module thereby supporting the 
 practical implementation of the modules’ learning outcomes.\n\nThe sessi
