DESCRIPTION:\nThis Shannon Chamber Skillnet programme is cofunded by the Go
 vernment of Ireland\, the European Union\, and network companies. https://
 www.eufunds.ie/\nYellow Belt Introduction\n\nA Lean Yellow Belt equips ind
 ividuals with foundational skills to identify waste\, improve processes\, 
 and support improvement projects via structured problem-solving. It boosts
  efficiency\, enhances teamwork\, and promotes a culture of continuous imp
 rovement in organisations.\n\nAs part of the course\, learners complete an
  in-company project\, employing the Lean methods taught on the course to f
 ix a problem that directly affects them.\n\nDelivery Methodology\n\nDelive
 red online over two full day sessions and supported with mentoring to deli
 ver an in-company project.\n\nCourse Content\n\nPart 1 – Lean Thinking F
 oundations\n\nFocus: Building core Lean understanding and identifying wast
 e.\n\nContent includes:\n• Lean Thinking and Principles\n• The 8 Waste
 s\n• Value vs Non-Value Add\n• Waste Walk methodology\n\nParticipants 
 develop a shared Lean vocabulary and the ability to identify improvement o
 pportunities within their own environments through structured waste identi
 fication exercises.\n\nPart 2 – Define and Measure\n\nFocus: Structured 
 problem definition and data-driven measurement.\n\nContent includes:\n• 
 DMAIC overview\n• A3 methodology\n• Problem definition and scoping\n
 • Process Mapping\n• Check Sheets\n• Run Charts and introductory Con
 trol Charts\n\nParticipants learn to define problems clearly\, map process
 es accurately and collect relevant data to establish baseline performance.
 \n\nPart 3 – Analyse\, Improve and Control\n\nFocus: Root cause analysis
  and sustainable countermeasures.\n\nContent includes:\n• Root Cause Ana
 lysis\n• Cause and Effect Diagrams\n• Cause Screening\n• 5 Whys\n•
  Process Map Analysis\n• Countermeasure development\n• Control plannin
 g\n\nPart 4 – Embedding Lean in Daily Practice\n\nFocus: Sustainment and
  visual performance management.\n\nContent includes:\n• Visual Managemen
 t principles\n• 6S and workplace organisation\n• PIT (Performance Impr
 ovement Target) meetings\n• Linking improvement activity to daily manage
 ment systems\n\nThe programme is designed to develop consistent\, discipli
 ned and sustainable Lean capability across participating organisations.\n\
 nMentoring:\n\nLBS Partners Yellow Belt is most effective for organisation
 s and participants when the improvement projects are mentored by one of ou
 r lean experts. Mentoring ensures that the learning from the training are 
 embedded effectively and that the organisation gets the most out of the pr
 ojects being completed. Specialised mentoring totalling four hours per par
 ticipant\, delivered online is provided for the duration of each project. 
 The mentoring enhances the learning from the training by applying the thin
 king and tools to their in-company projects. The mentor will offer support
  and guidance on the project. Mentoring is provided in 4 x 1-hour sessions
  with each participant however\, the mentor will be available for question
 s over email or short check ins outside of these sessions should the parti
 cipants require additional support.\n\nAccreditation\n\nLBS Yellow Belt Tr
 aining is accredited by the University of Limerick. Upon successful comple
 tion of the training (100% attendance is required) and submission of the i
 n company project \, learners will be accredited with a level 7 (undergrad

  days in advance of scheduled training date shall incur no cancellation fe
 e. Training courses which are cancelled within 7 days of scheduled trainin
 g date shall incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost. Registrant
