SUMMARY:Lean Yellow Belt For Office - Remote
DESCRIPTION:Introduction\n\nProblem solving is one of the key factors to su
ccessful Lean implementation\; a sustaining Lean transformation in an offi
ce requires a particular sets of skills and tools\, as unlike manufacturin
g\, office work is not visible and is hidden under reams of paper. Improvi
ng the efficiency of the work requires continuous problem solving by every
one in the office. In the context of continuous improvement\, it is a neve
r-ending process. The Lean Yellow Belt course includes a suite of problem
solving tools which can be employed to increase profitability\, lower cost
 s and improve customer satisfaction.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWho should attend?\n\nT
his Yellow Belt program will be tailored to the organisations operating in
service industry. \n\nYellow Belt training is essential for the front li
ne support team such as office managers\, team leaders and support personn
el to ensure that problems are resolved at the appropriate level in the or
ganisation. The long term goal is to train all levels of the organisation
in lean thinking as it applies to the office\,  to allow the organisation
  to make Lean Transformations a reality.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat’s covered?\n
\nThe Lean Office Yellow Belt course covers the underlying concepts behind
Lean Thinking for the office or support department\, with particular emph
asis on problem solving\, root cause analysis and the application of the D
MAIC cycle: Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control to implement solutions.
Yellow Belt training includes details on the most commonly used problem s
 olving tools such as 5 whys\, Ishikawa’s seven problem solving tools\, a
nd the A3 process. Case studies\, examples\, polls and commentary are rela
ted to the office environment\,\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat will you learn?\n\nPart
icipants will be provided with the knowledge and capability to:\n\n Ident
ify and make problems in your office visible\n Use structured problem sol
 ving methodologies\, i.e. Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) and Define-Measure-Anal
yse-Improve-Control (DMAIC) to solve problems that reduce the flow of work
in the office or affecting the timing of completion of tasks\n Use tools
to define the problem: SIPOC\, Process Mapping\, Run Charts\n Use of ana
lysis tools: Histograms\, Pareto Analysis\, Scatter Charts\n Use tools to
root cause problems: 5 Whys\, Cause &amp\; Effect Diagrams\n Use Sustain
ing Tools\, Control Charts and Visual Control\n Select and use the approp
riate tools to solve problems in the office and sustain improvements\n Su
ccessfully apply the A3 process to a variety of problems within an office
 setting.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSchedule:\n\n\n\nYellow Belt\nDate\nSession\n\n\nDa
