SUMMARY:Lean Yellow Belt - Remote
DESCRIPTION:Yellow Belt Introduction\n\nProblem solving is one of the key f
actors to successful Lean implementation\; sustaining a Lean transformatio
n requires continuous problem solving by everyone in the organisation. In
the context of continuous improvement\, it is a never-ending process. The
six sigma yellow belt course includes a suite of problem solving tools whi
ch can be employed to increase profitability\, lower costs and improve cus
tomer satisfaction.\n\nWho should attend?\n\nYellow Belt training is essen
tial for the front line support team such as supervisors\, team leaders an
d support personnel to ensure that problems are resolved at the appropriat
e level in the organisation. The long term goal would be to train all leve
ls of the organisation to this level to allow the organisation to make Lea
 n Transformations a reality.\n\nWhat’s covered?\n\nThe yellow belt cours
e covers the underlying concepts behind Lean Thinking with particular emph
asis on problem solving\, root cause analysis and the application of the D
MAIC cycle: Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control to implement solutions.
Yellow Belt training includes details on the most commonly used problem s
 olving tools such as 5 whys\, Ishikawa’s seven problem solving tools\, a
nd the A3 process.\n\nWhat will you learn?\n\nParticipants will be provide
d with the knowledge and capability to:\n\n Identify and make problems vi
 siable\n Use structured problem solving methodologies\, i.e. Plan-Do-Chec
 k-Act (PDCA) and Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control (DMAIC)\n Use too
ls to define the problem: SIPOC\, Process Mapping\, Run Charts\n Use of a
nalysis tools: Histograms\, Pareto Analysis\, Scatter Charts\n Use tools
to root cause problems: 5 Whys\, Cause &amp\; Effect Diagrams\n Use Susta
ining Tools\, Control Charts and Visual Control\n Select and use the appr
opriate tools to solve problems and sustain improvements\n Successfully a
 pply the A3 process.\n\nSchedule:\n\n\n\nYellow Belt\nDate\nSession\n\n\nD
