It is one of a series of programmes which Shannon Chamber Skillnet w ill deliver to assist:\n\n Individuals who are currently in receipt of PU P or TWSS payments\n Individuals currently unemployed or who became unemp loyed as a result of COVID-19\n Individuals who are not in employment and not in receipt of welfare payments.\n\nIf you fall under one of the param eters above you are eligible to apply for this course free of charge.\n\nP lease note when completing the online application form please enter ‘Une mployed’ under the Company Field.\nLean Green Belt\nProgramme Objectives :\n\nThe objective of this programme is to give a detailed overview of the key concepts of Lean Thinking in terms of the Lean Principles (Value\, Va lue Stream\, Flow\, Pull\, and Perfection) and the Wastes as identified by Lean. It provides a practical understanding of how to identify and expose the opportunities presented by the ubiquity of waste in businesses and de livers practical instruction in powerful Lean tools &\; techniques such as Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.\nThe aim is to successfully manage pr ojects which deliver demonstrable improvement in key business measures. Te am members need both the ability to effectively manage these projects and lead cross functional teams. The second aim of this course is to combine t he philosophies of Lean Thinking with the discipline of Project Management and the concepts of teams and team performance to assist project leaders in the successful delivery of improvement projects.\n\nProgramme Duration &\; Structure:\n\nThis programme will be delivered online in 10 session s of 4 hours duration including three breaks.
