SUMMARY:LEAN Business Programme
DESCRIPTION:Management Works LEAN Business Programme is a green belt level 
 training programme which uses a proven combination of training and onsite 
 project mentoring to help participants understand lean principles\, implem
 ent lean tools and deliver improvements for sustainable cost savings. The 
 programme is heavily subsidised by Skillnetsand delivered by leading lean 
 consultants\, LBSPartners.\n\n\n\nLEAN BUSINESS OBJECTIVES\n\nAdopting lea
 n tools and techniques is a business improvement approach being embraced b
 y companies across all industries in Ireland and around the world. WHY? Be
 cause it delivers serious competitive advantage to companies who participa
 te. Previous participants are now achieving measureable improvements acros
 s a wide range of business outcomes\, including: improved cash flow\, prod
 uctivity\, waste reduction\, lead times\, employee engagement\, quality an
 d customer service.\nBy participating in this programme\, you and your tea
 m will:\n-Develop a clear understanding and practical knowledge of the too
 ls and practices underpinning lean.\n-Identify and deliver a project or su
 ite of projects to provide meaningful and measureable improvements for you
 r business.\n-Gain the knowledge\, skills and confidence to apply lean pri
 nciples\, tools and techniques to other projects within your business.\n\n
 WHO SHOULD ATTEND?\nAll companies where efficiency is a critical factor in
  success. Participants can include admin staff\, operators\, supervisors a
 nd/or managers. We can support you to select a team of up to 3 participant
 s. Each participant will deliver an improvement project in their area of t
 he business.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPROGRAMME COST\nAPPLY NOW!\n€4\,000 per compa
 ny for up to three participants.\n\nPlaces are limited to four companies p
 er programme.\n\n-Action-focused programme\, typically delivered over 12-w
 eeks.\n-5 days of intense workshops –all participating companies attendi
 ng together.\n-8 half days of on-site mentoring sessions with an expert Le
 an consultant from LBSPartners –focused on supporting participants to de
 liver successful projects.\n\nWorkshop Training Programme\nLimited to 4 co
 mpanies\; 3 participants/business.\n\nWorkshop 1 (2 days):Lean Sigma Overv
 iew\, Fundamentals of Lean\, Lean Simulation\, Introduction to Six Sigma\,
  TaktTime and Cycle Time\, Value Stream Mapping\, Project Management\, Kan
 ban.\nWorkshop 2 (1 Day): DMAIC “Define Phase”\, A3 Methodology\, DMAI
 C “Measure Phase”.\nWorkshop 3 (1 Day): Standard Work\, DMAIC “Analy
 se Phase”\, 6S\, Visual Management.\nWorkshop 4 (1 Day):DMAIC “Improve
  Phase”\, Kaizen\, DMAIC “Control Phase”\, TPM and OEE Final\nPresen
 tation Day (½ day): A3 presentations by all participating companies to fu
 rther enforce the learning from the programme while also giving management
  an opportunity to view projects in the context of the other participant c
 ompanies.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nMentoring Support Plan\nPlaces limited to 3 partic
 ipants/business\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nEight half-day mentoring sessions delivered 
 on-site on your company premises.\nYour ability to deliver an improvement 
 project in your business will be the key outcome of this programme as it d
 emonstrates your learning and application. The in-company mentoring will b
 e focused on the application of learning\, and supporting you through a st
 ructured implementation. The mentoring sessions are used to achieve the fo
 llowing:\nMeet owner / key managers in the company to scope out the projec
 t(s).\nPrepare project business cases and involve your finance team as req
 uired.\nProvide support and feedback to members of the project team.\nComp
 lete the assignment with a team presentation to the management team.\nThro
 ughout the programme\, the aim is to transfer knowledge\, skills and attit
 ude to the project team to enable them to apply lean principles in future.
