 eople are the most valuable resource in every organisation and therefore t
 he role of the Front-Line Manager is vital. However\, for Front Line Manag
 ers in organisations today\, overseeing work-flow is not enough\, instead 
 they need to inspire and develop their people\, deal with change\, handle 
 difficult situations\, control performance and mentor their teams. This tw
 o-day programme (Dates: 9th June and 16th June) will be delivered in four 
 3 hour modules and  is focused on providing the necessary skills required
  to be an excellent Front Line Manager in the ‘new normal’.\n\nThis pr

 ng – recognising how to communicate and negotiate with different persona
 lity types (Kiersey)\n\nSession 2 - Assertive Communication\n\n• Communi
 cation styles and techniques – recognising styles and adapting communica
 tion accordingly \n• Barriers to effective communication\n• Active lis
 tening\n\nSession 3 - Leadership\n\n• Characteristics and styles of effe
 ctive leaders\n• Understanding leadership styles and values\n• The imp
 ortance of leading – task\, team\, individual\n• Evaluating your manag
 ement style\n• Managing others to bring out the best\n\nSession 4 – Mo
