DESCRIPTION:First aid training for the workplace\nPHECC has designed the Fi
 rst Aid Response (FAR) Standard to offer appropriate training to individua
 ls and groups who require a first aid skill set including cardiac first re
 sponse.\n\nThe FAR Standard meets the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) re
 quirement for occupational first aid training for the workplace.\n\nCourse
  content:\n\n 	Patient Assessment\n 	Procedures\n 	Cardiac First Response 
 (CPR &amp\; AED\, Choking &amp\; Stroke)\n 	Common Medical Emergencies (As
 thma\, Diabetes\, Seizures\, Poisoning &amp\; Fainting)\n 	Injury Manageme
 nt &amp\; Shock (Bleeding\, Fractures\, Sprains\, Strains &amp\; Dislocati
 ons\, Shock)\n 	Care of the Unconscious Patient\n 	Burns &amp\; Electrical
  Injury Care\n 	Hypothermia &amp\; Hyperthermia\n 	Information Management 
 &amp\; Communications\,\n 	The Well-Being of the First-Aid Responder\n\n

 are cancelled over 7 days in advance of scheduled training date shall incu
 r no cancellation fee. Training courses which are cancelled within 7 days 
 of scheduled training date shall incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of 
 the cost. Registrants who give less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend
  training will be charged 100% of the full fee.
