DESCRIPTION:Course Aim: The aim of this First Aid Certified course is to pr
 ovide learners with the knowledge and skills to be a First Aid Responder.\
 n\nCourse Overview &amp\; Content: \n\nPHECC has designed the First Aid R
 esponse (FAR) Standard to offer appropriate training to individuals and gr
 oups who require a first aid skill set including cardiac first response. T
 his standard is designed to meet first aid and basic life support (BLS) re
 quirements that a person known as “First Aid Responder” may encounter.
  The FAR Standard meets the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) requirement 
 for occupational first aid training for the workplace.\n\n 	Infection Prev
 ention and Control\n 	Patient Assessment\n 	Incident Procedure\n 	Cardiac 
 First Responder (community)\n 	Common Medical Emergencies\n 	Injury Manage
 ment and Shock\n 	Care of the Unconscious Patient\n 	Burns and Electrical 
 Injury Care\n 	Hypothermia and Hyperthermia\n 	Information Management\n 	C
 ommunications\n 	The well-being of the first aid responder\n\nWho should a
 ttend?\n\nAnyone who wishes to train and be certified in Emergency First 
 Aid.\n\nAccreditation:\n\nOn successful completion of the course candidate
 s will receive a PHECC First Aid Responder certificate.\n\nCertificate Val
 id for 2 years.\n\nCourse Duration:  3 Days -  16th\, 17th &amp\; 18th N

 icy: Training courses which are cancelled over 7 days in advance of schedu
 led training date shall incur no cancellation fee. Training courses which 
 are cancelled within 3 days of scheduled training date shall incur a cance
 llation fee equal to 50% of the cost. Registrants who give less than 24 ho
 urs notice or fail to attend training will be charged 100% of the full fee
