DESCRIPTION:Aims &amp\; Objectives:\n\nSustained underperformance can prece
 de a Capability or Conduct issue…but we should do all we can to avoid th
 is outcome.\n\n 	The over-riding aim is to encourage supervisors and manag
 ers to clarify what they need to do to encourage underperforming staff to 
 ensure the delivery of a quality service or product.\n 	Through discussion
  and breakout groupwork the delegates will draw on their own experiences o
 f working in management roles and reflect on good practice in order to enh
 ance existing skills.\n 	By engaging a member of the HR department\, the g
 roup will agree a consistent approach to documentation in line with GDPR g
 uidelines (if appropriate)\n\nTarget Audience:\n\nManagers who are wanting
  to agree best practice around dealing with underperformance.\n\nThose wil
 ling to support their team members to develop the competence and confidenc
 e to perform effectively in role.\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\nBy the end of

 ous causes of underperformance\n 	Discuss the benefits of “Grasping the 
 nettle” – turning performance round\n 	Reflect on the need to adapt th

 tation\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWho is Jo Irwin?\n\nJo has 18 years’ experience wor
 king in the pharmaceutical industry in sales\, training and management pos
 itions. In 2013 she set up her own training company\, i4\n\nTraining Ltd a
 nd has been involved in the design and delivery of tailored training progr
 ams to staff working within varied organisations.\n\nShe specialises in th
 e interview process\, specifically preparation for those following a compe
 tency-based approach. She regularly provides both class-room based worksho
 ps and 1:1 coaching for staff at all levels. Jo is passionate about delive
 ring training that is not only relevant but that will mentally stimulate p
 eople to do or feel something different. This is backed up by feedback rec
 eived from delegates over many years.\n\nCurrently Jo works in both Irelan
 d and the UK\, where she designs and delivers training with an emphasis on
  supporting people to enable them to up-skill and build self-confidence.\n

 le to match the needs of the audience.\n 	Extensive experience of performa
 nce management processes and best practice.\n 	Member of the Chartered Ins
 titute of Personnel &amp\; Development.\n 	Qualified in N.L.P. (neuro ling
 uistic programming) to both business and master practitioner level.\n 	Coa
 ching and mentoring experience.\n 	FETAC Train the Trainer accreditation. 
 (Level 6)\n 	FETAC Digital Marketing qualification. (Level 5)\n 	PRINCE2 P
