SUMMARY:Customer Service Skills
DESCRIPTION:Introduction:\n\nThis programme is designed to equip learners w
 ith the tools and techniques necessary to communicate more effectively in 
 their customer service role.  It focuses on developing their skills and c
 onfidence in managing customer issues face-to-face\, over the phone or by 
 email. Through the use of effective active listening and relationship buil
 ding\, customer satisfaction and retention will be enhanced.\n\nCourse Ob
 jectives:\n\nAt the end of this programme\, participants will be able to:\
 n• Define what Customer Service is\n• Communicate effectively.\n• De
 monstrate empathy.\n• Establish the customer's needs quickly and effecti
 vely.\n• Manage aggressive customers and behave in an assertive manner.\
 n• Handle complaints in a polite and professional manner.\n• Resolve p
 roblems using effective questioning and listening techniques.\n• Maintai
 n a positive attitude throughout.\n\nWho should attend:\n\nThe programme i
 s suitable for all employees with a customer facing role (internal or exte
 rnal). It is targeted at those who deal directly with customers face-to-fa
 ce\, over the telephone or bye-mail. Examples of these include:\n• Recep
 tionists and front-of-house staff\n• Call centre workers\n• Online sup
 port staff\n• Front-line sales and customer service staff\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
 PROGRAM FEE: Members €45 / Non-Members: €55\n\nThis is a  half day co
 urse\, 9.30 am to 13.00 pm ( coffee break will be allocated).\n\nDelivered

 y: Training courses which are cancelled over 7 days in advance of schedul
 ed training date shall incur no cancellation fee. Training courses which a
 re cancelled within 7 days of scheduled training date shall incur a cancel
 lation fee equal to 50% of the cost. Registrants who give less than 24 hou
 rs notice or fail to attend training will be charged 100% of the full fee.
