SUMMARY:Core Concepts of Project Management
DESCRIPTION:Introduction:  Many projects are managed and performed in an i
 nconsistent ad-hoc fashion. Having awareness and understanding of standard
  generally accepted project management practices enables managers to estab
 lish consistent structured techniques that promote successful project perf
 ormance.  A focus is placed on understanding project management concepts 
 and how they support this  structured approach to performing work. The en
 tire course content is compliant with the ANSI standard “Guide to the Pr
 oject Management Body of Knowledge\, fifth edition\, (PMBOK®)” of the P
 roject Management Institute (PMI®).\n\nObjective: Delegates are introduce
 d to the fundamentals of Project Management. The objective is to provide d
 elegates with an understanding of how the project management approach supp
 orts a team to focus on achieving the required results. It is intended tha
 t insights gained from this course will enable learners to understand gene
 rally accepted project management practices and be able to determine where
  they need to pursue deeper knowledge in order to become more effective in

 ividuals who currently  work  on  projects or are  occasionally assign

  of project techniques with discussions and a case study that runs through

 ical exercise that will reinforce core project management techniques to la
